(DONE) ignoring a bookmark folder.

I usually put all my old bookmarks to an Archive folder. I don't want it to list under the search. Is this something which is possible? Any workaround or at least move it at the bottom of the search.

Hi @ShijuSamuel - that situation totally makes sense to me.

I don't think that there's something you could do today. There's historyIgnoreList, but you define the ignore pattern based on the URL, not a folder.

It should be rather easy to add an additional ignore filter, that also applies to bookmarks.
Something like folderIgnoreList: ["Archive"] (Array of strings) -> This would ignore all bookmark folders (and subsequent folders) that have "Archive" as text in them. Would this work out for you?

Ok, this seems really easy to add. Just tried it out and it's only a small addition: https://github.com/Fannon/search-bookmarks-history-and-tabs/pull/110/files

I'll include it in the next release. It usually takes a while for this to reach the extension stores.

Ok, i've released this as v1.9.3. It's already on Chrome and Firefox store, should be on Edge store soon, too.
