ImageMagick compression during -strip for removing EXIF data

Hello,

While stripping EXIF data from a .jpg or .jpeg image via -strip, I believe the recompression of the image is lossy. Is there a way to not have a lossy compression while removing EXIF data?

I found this forum post from 2007 saying that imagemagick did not anticipate support for lossless transformations, but since that was a while back I'm wondering if this has been changed.

You will still need to use another tool for that. And this is not something that we will be going to add in the future.
