Quick View ("we", "our", or "us") is an offline student profile management application created by Sonu-debug-ui. Your privacy and data security are our highest priority. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled within the application.
- Zero Remote Server Collection: Quick View operates 100% offline. We do not collect, transmit, store, or sell any personal data to external servers or third-party analytics platforms.
- Local Device Storage: All student profiles, dates of birth, contact numbers, notes, and document photos (Aadhar Cards and Birth Certificates) are stored strictly on your local device.
- Aadhar Number Encryption: Sensitive Aadhar numbers are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption before being saved into the local SQLite database.
- Platform Secure Enclave: The master encryption key is generated and stored securely in your device's native secure enclave via
flutter_secure_storage(Keystore on Android, Keychain on iOS). - Encrypted Backups: Backup files exported from the app retain Aadhar number encryption. Photos are excluded from standard text backups to maintain security.
The application requires the following minimal device permissions to operate:
- Storage / Media Library: Required to allow you to select student profile photos, Aadhar card photos, and Birth certificate documents from your gallery.
- Phone / SMS: Required to initiate phone calls or send text messages to student contacts when explicitly tapped by you.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any updates will be posted directly in the repository.
