Trouble Showing Entire Column

The attached sample file has 2 columns: guid and rowid
sample_file.csv

Since it only contains two columns, when I run tidy-viewer I would like to view the entirety of the values in each of the columns but I'm struggling to get the command to recognize the lower-column-width option. I don't believe it's a terminal window size issue because I do have the window fairly wide.

I think you are actually hitting the upper limit.

-u, --upper-column-width <upper-column-width>    The upper (maximum) width of columns. [default: 20]

Can you show me what the following looks like

tv --upper-column-width 36 sample_file.csv

I see, yep, this resolved the issue. I was thinking the the lower-column-width would display the entire guid field since it's described as the minimum size, so if anything was say less than 6 characters it would pad it. Thanks!

That makes sense. Maybe that lower width flag is not needed.
