Installation error for asreview-dory on Windows with Python 3.14

Hello,

I am very new to Python and ASReview, so apologies if this is a basic question.
I am trying to install Dory using pip install asreview-dory, but the installation fails.

Environment:
Windows (64-bit)
Python 3.14 (installed from python.org)

The error message ends with:

ERROR: Failed building wheel for gensim
Failed to build gensim
error: failed-wheel-build-for-install

Questions:

Is asreview-dory currently compatible with Python 3.14?
Is Python 3.11 or 3.12 currently the recommended version for DORY?
Do I need to uninstall Python 3.12 and install an older version, or is there an easier fix?
Is there a workaround other than downgrading Python?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi!

ASReview-Dory currently works with Python 3.10/11/12/13, so the easiest way forward would be to uninstall Python 3.14 (if you don't use it for any other projects) and install 3.13 from the Python.org website!
