You can create workouts from the workout editor in qz. It's what I'm doing
every day.
Were you asking this?

… Hello all,
I'd just like to be able to track my runs on my treadmill (Domyos Run500)
and log them in Apple Health. I don't have particularly demanding
requirements, so I don't want to pay for Strava or Peloton; it just
wouldn't be worth it for me.
I track my outdoor runs using the free version of Runkeeper, and it's good
enough for me.
Now, to my question: how can I simply use the treadmill's training modules
while having the QDomyos-Zwift connected to it? I'm using the beta version
of the app, which logs the activity to Apple Health.
At the moment, when I connect the app to the treadmill, all the controls
on the treadmill get disabled, I can't select any training module anymore;
it expects the app to control it. Any idea how I could go about this?

This app keeps getting better and better =) Now I am very inexperienced. I am looking for some standard workout for treadmill? Basic endurance workouts, calorie burn, training. 30-45 min is perfect for me. If there's a repository of tranings I can look at and import into my app, that would be ideal. |

I usually use garmin for the workouts but also chatgpt or similar can do
for you.
If you tell them to use the
https://github.com/cagnulein/qdomyos-zwift/blob/master/src/trainprogram.cpp
it will create directly the xml to import in qz ;)

Pretty nice, thanks, it worked for me too. One follow-up question. I see there's a PID setting which can be set to a specific heart rate zone. I have a Polar H10. I can't seem to find a way to change the heart rate zone of the PID during a workout, or am I missing something (and is the LLM too)? I see I can set heart rate zones during the workout (for example |

yes exactly

… ah, ok, it's *either* zonehr *or* hrmin+hrmax.
So this here will automatically change the speed to keep my heart within
the heart rate zone 2? I don't need to enable the PID setting for this?

Thanks. It will always be the speed that is changed to raise/lower HR, not the inclination of the treadmill, is my understanding correct? It's fine like that, I just want to make sure I understand correctly how this works. |
|
yes it changes only the speed. there is also a speed power based setting in
the treadmill options in qz that does change the speed if you change the
inclination to match the power
