Do Not Auto-Calculate Item Rate When Price List Currency Differs from Transaction Currency #57871

Description

@DipenFrappe

If the transaction currency is different from the company (base) currency, and the Price List currency is the company (base) currency, the system automatically calculates the Item Rate by dividing the Price List Rate by the Exchange Rate (Rate / Exchange Rate). keep the Rate field blank and require the user to enter the transaction currency rate manually or avoid automatically calculating the rate.

In the example below, the Standard Selling Price List is in INR, while the transaction currency is USD. The Item Price is ₹100, and the exchange rate is 70. The system automatically divides 100 by 70 and sets the Item Rate to 1.43 USD.

This automatic calculation may not be appropriate, as the user may want to specify a different selling price in the transaction currency and because this on change of exchange rate item rate is geeting change.
