Using Vim on Yaft

Setup

  1. Install Yaft
  2. Add this to ~/.bashrc: export TERM=xterm

Done.

Tips

  • Hold the escape button on the on-screen keyboard to hide the keyboard
  • You can use git to get your vim config from GitHub:
    • opkg install git
    • opkg install git-https
    • git clone ...
    • unset LD_PRELOAD to remove annoying message
  • Keep unessesary movement/animation to a minimum
    • Turn of relative line numbers in the gutter
