Yes, my IOS phone is installed with the latest version of the store. It will automatically disconnect in about 1 minute. Switching the APP to the foreground will restore it.

Thank you for reporting the issue.

You can try to see if it has issues with 1080p mode enabled and with it not enabled.

You can try adding &codec=h264 to the view link to see if that helps reduce the CPU load.

Disable any battery saver / lower power modes that your phone might be in.

Try to have just one viewer at a time; more viewers may cause more load.

Last I tested it with iOS 18, it worked, however Apple will still close the app if it starts using too much memory or CPU, especially if the other application you have open is using up all the resources.

I thought I had it all working, but if its still not working, I'll look into it

Sometimes it disconnects and sometimes it doesn't. Changing to 720P and clearing the background will have a better effect. I'm wondering if a plug-in that plays silent music in the background will solve this problem? I'm going to try it

@xiaochaosy-code you can add parameters to the view link; there are several that work in that sense. There are no parameters you can set on the SENDER side (phone side) however -- all the settings available are in the menu there.

First of all, I would like to thank the author for his silent contribution, and thank you for taking the time to pay attention to the people who care about this project despite your busy schedule. There are several minor problems that arise during use. I hope the author will adopt them and optimize them.
After 2 days of non-stop testing, IOS screen disconnection frequency is very high and can only last for about 1 minute. There are only a few times when it will not be disconnected. I don’t know why.

In addition, screen sharing on IOS mobile phones only supports 20fps. Is there any room for improvement? ;

In order to improve portability, I used another mobile phone to pull the screen sharing of IOS, but unfortunately Safari can only pull the 720P screen sharing. If I pull the 1080P, the browser will not respond at all.

@steveseguin I'm commenting on this issue because I had a similar problem yesterday.

I have a room on vdo.ninja that I use frequently. Yesterday morning, I made a one-hour recording without any issues (control room: macOS; guest: Windows). Yesterday afternoon, with the same settings (H.264 already enabled), a guest with a Mac experienced the same issue: after five minutes of screen sharing, it stopped. The Mac had a low battery before the call started. The guest connected the Mac to a wall plug, but unfortunately the issue persisted. Is there any way you could solve this?

• Does the screen-share button turn off on the guest side?
• Does the macOS/browser screen-sharing indicator disappear?
• Browser and version used by the Mac guest.

• Was Low Power Mode disabled after plugging in? macOS can remain in Low Power Mode even while connected to power, depending on settings.

  Yes, I confirm the camera and audio streaming are working correctly

• Does the screen-share button turn off on the guest side?
  No, the guest is able to share again the screen, the link "solo view" is the same

• Does the macOS/browser screen-sharing indicator disappear?
  No

• Browser and version used by the Mac guest.
  We tried with different browsers, Safari, Chromium-based. The issue was persisting.

  Not sure about that unfortunately.. it has already coloured app icons so should be minimum Tahoe, idk the exact version

• Was Low Power Mode disabled after plugging in? macOS can remain in Low Power Mode even while connected to power, depending on settings.
  I'm not sure, in fact I saw your comment about that and is something I will try again if will happen next time
