Richtext preview erases line breaks

Hi!

I'm not sure if this is a user error or bug so I'm posting my problem here.

When using the richtext field with both raw and rich_text view, the simple line breaks disappears.
(Not "enter" key in richtext view which gives more spacing)

Repro:

• have a richtext/markdown field
• use raw view
• have 2 line text with single line break
• put double space the the end of the first line
• break a single line using double space or \ in the text
• switch to rich_text view
• switch back to raw view
• the double space or \ disappear

I would expect it to work like e.g. the github md line breaks official doc

My main problem is that it seems like the rich_text view changes the text and cleanes up these characters.

If anyone finds this issue you can try manually typing <br> into the md file as a work around.
In my configuration using svelte and mdsvex works.
