Ideas about sharing CMS preview style and frontoffice style

First, thanks so much for your continued community support, you're doing an amazing job!

Now to my question/idea. We are using sveltia in combination with hugo. We are facing the issue where sveltia collection previews (the right hand side of the screen, when editing collection idems) look differently than the pages generated by hugo. I know that sveltia supports customizing previews to some extent, and involves custom css. How would you tackle the synchronization between sveltia preview style and hugo frontend page style ?

You need to create a custom preview template (soon to be supported) for that purpose. However, you need to write it using React, and it may be difficult to recreate the exactly same appearance.

Due to the nature of a general-purpose, framework-agnostic CMS, Sveltia CMS will not provide a visual editor.

Hugo’s own documentation lists several CMSs, but it seems only CloudCannon provides this feature. I have no idea how it could be implemented 😉

And do you think it is possible to have common CSS for the future custom preview template and the hugo layout ?

I think so.

For a custom preview style, you should already be able to use a common CSS.
