Rasa is building the next generation of its engine — a new way to build, orchestrate, and control AI agents. Before it launches publicly, a small, hand-picked group of developers is building on it first: the Rasa Heroes.
Heroes get hands-on access as it rolls out, a direct line to the team building it, and their builds showcased when the engine launches. In return, they build real things, hit the rough edges before anyone else does, and tell us the truth about it.
This repository is the public home of the program. Starter examples, instructions, and community builds all land here.
Where things stand: the program runs ahead of full public access. Hands-on builds roll out to Heroes in waves — every rollout is announced in the Discord first, and the materials appear here. We'd rather show you exactly where we are than polish a story.
- Join. Heroes are added on a rolling basis. Start by joining the Rasa Agent Engineering Community on Discord and introducing yourself in the community — what you build, and what you'd want to build on the new engine.
- Build. When access opens for your cohort, you get starter examples (in
examples/), docs, and a Rasa Pro license from us. Bring your own use case — the interesting feedback never comes from the happy path. - Share. Tell the team what worked and what didn't, and — if you choose to — publish your build and add it to the showcase. The best builds get featured when the engine launches.
- Your own LLM API key (e.g. OpenAI or Anthropic). Usage during the program is light, but you need one.
- A Rasa Pro license key — provided to participants, no cost to you.
- A Discord account, since that's where announcements, questions, and the community live.

Issues and pull requests here are for the contents of this repo — examples, showcase entries, docs fixes. Product feedback from program participants goes through the channels shared in Discord, where it reaches the engineering team directly.
Built in the open, with consent — nothing about a Hero or their build is featured without their yes.
