GreaseTrap Sentinel is built as a set of loosely coupled microservices behind a single API gateway, which means each compliance domain — scheduling, volume ingestion, packet generation, crew routing — scales and deploys independently. All FOG accumulation records and audit history live in MongoDB, which handles the transactional integrity requirements of multi-jurisdiction compliance data without breaking a sweat. Crew routing state is persisted in Redis so nothing is ever lost between dispatch cycles. The submission packet renderer runs as an isolated worker process and can generate hundreds of jurisdiction-specific PDF packets concurrently without touching the core service.
