- Google — AI/ML data pipelines for commerce analytics & conversions; previously the Shopping merchant-reporting frontends.
- Microsoft — built the content & discovery feed in Office 365 (Teams & Office.com) from scratch, in React / React Native.
- Spotify — rebuilt Checkout & payments and led the web team behind spotify.com.
- Booking.com — ran large-scale conversion experimentation on the core booking funnel and founded Booking's first web developer-experience team.
- awesome-vscode — creator of the curated VS Code list: 28.7k★, featured in Smashing Magazine.
- charybdis — former core-team member of the IRC daemon that powered freenode.net (~90K+ concurrent users at its peak).
- Conference organiser & speaker — React Amsterdam, AmsterdamJS, React Day Berlin; programme committee for JSNation / AI Coding Summit; jury for the React & JavaScript Open Source Awards (GitNation).
- Low-latency trading platform — a private project I built for my own trading: a Rust backend on real-time market data, with order execution and risk across multiple venues.
- oldams.nl — Old Amsterdam: a geocoded collection of historical photographs that became part of Amsterdam's official maps collection.
